I’m playing catch up and back-posting a few entries that took a backseat to my summer plans. I’ve been hard at work with new projects which (unlike a typical portrait shoot) take a larger amount of time to produce. As I start to hone my professional photography skills, I am guessing that the summer will be spent focusing on growing as a photographer and as a business…but I promise to post whenever I can!

In the meantime, I thought I’d share a snapshot from the flower stand in my neighborhood. As you can probably guess from my flower-filled May posts, this month has left me longing for a few blooms. Walking by, I found it interesting how these flowers looked dark and moody under the dim light of a night time flower stand. It’s a little different compared to the pastels of spring, but beautiful in my eyes nonetheless!
