This week has been a very good opportunity to get out and scout the city for new photo locations. The weather forecast doesn’t show any blizzards and now that my schedule is more flexible, I will definitely be making my way to the Brooklyn Bridge again to see what it looks like in the winter. The last time I was able to go to the bridge was last summer. The city was in the middle of a heat wave and as I predicted, the pedestrian walkway was rather empty. When I traveled to Spain, I did my fair share of walking under the hot sun…so a July afternoon on the Brooklyn Bridge felt familiar and was relatively tolerable. It was definitely a great pay-off: the sunlight and blue skies made for some great photos!
I can’t wait to scout new locations and get ready for photography season in the spring. What are you planning to photograph this year? I love networking and meeting new photographers. Send me a message and let’s share ideas!
