I don’t normally photograph in macro, but I might change my mind after seeing the minerals exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History. The thoughtful lighting and display reminded me of reading National Geographic as a kid. Even though the AMNH is one of my favorite museums, this was my first time to explore the far back corner of the building and view this almost hidden exhibit. I will definitely be coming back…perhaps with a new macro lens!
