Coming back from the holidays feels more difficult this time around! Add to that a very cold and bitter polar vortex and it seems like the city and all it’s inhabitants are on edge. With the snow and below zero temperatures, I didn’t shoot as much as I have in the past few months. Luckily, I still have a few images to share from the very end of December when I was blessed enough to spend some time at the Plaza Hotel. Hopefully the beautiful details and ornate finishing will brighten my overall mood from this month.

Fortunately, photography season (and warmer weather) will be here before I know it…and that always cheers me up!
