After a summer playing host to friends and family, it was time to take a moment to breathe. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of my favorite places in the city to relax, even when it’s full of the summer’s tourists. Even though the Greek and Roman Wing is normally where I go to sit still and watch the world go by, I decided to take a closer look at the Asia Wing. The rich colors under the warm light had me daydreaming of a trip to their origins. Even though I visit often, I’ve barely seen everything this museum has to show. I promise to post more soon!
