The weather has been absolutely beautiful this month! I’ve grown quite resentful of the cold weather this year, having worn thick coats and snow boots for months on end. The warm weather was a welcome change!
While walking by the Ralph Lauren store during a warm Saturday, I noticed the beautiful window displays and the way the sun and clear skies reflected mirror images of the architecture across the street. The paper flowers and delicate draping of the dresses truly resonated with the mood of the city that day: completely filled with light, intricate architectural details, and the historical beauty of the Upper East Side.
The neighborhood doesn’t get as much credit as Greenwich Village or the Lower East Side because it’s more gentrified and less hip. For my old soul, I just love the museums, the restaurants that have been open for generations, and the beautiful architecture. I think once the spring flowers come up, I will give a full profile to the area!
