Easter left me inspired by the simple beauty of eggshells. Ever since, I’ve been slowly cleaning and collecting eggshells for a future unknown project. Organic eggs come in beautiful shades of caramel brown while the egg curve is a beautiful plane for catching shadow and light. I haven’t seen many professional precedents featuring eggs but I came across this piece by Mitchell Feinberg. I admire his extensive portfolio and would like to do an egg shoot of my own. These test images were beautiful out of the camera – I can’t wait to have enough eggshells to do a shoot!
