The glitter and magic of Christmas might be gone but the gild and glamour of New York City still remains. As I walked from Grand Central Station and through midtown, I couldn’t help but stop and take a few photos of the department store windows and the Art Deco architecture. Whenever my commute takes me there, I like to walk by the Plaza Hotel and then cut through the hallways of the GE building. I never get tired of seeing such an iconic monument of the Machine Age. Someday I’ll have to brave the tourist crowds and take a tour of the building…if I do, I will definitely share the experience!
