Haha, with all of my posts lately, it looks like I like photographing flowers more than anything else! I promise, it’s only temporary until I’m done with my workshops.

These are a few shots that didn’t make it into the queue last month when I was completely preoccupied with tree blossoms. Sometimes it is good to look down…especially since the blooms on the branches take the attention away from the flowers on the ground. The light in particular is my favorite feature on these images. I’m learning how to imitate it with artificial lighting in the studio and it’s definitely easier said than done!

I’ve been learning so much through my workshops and working with established photographers. I can’t wait to share the food images I’ve been shooting in the studio. Most of them are test shoots but I’m excited nonetheless!
