Why…why…why won’t this winter weather go away?! I took the day off with big plans to wander the city and enjoy the weather…but instead got January temperatures! I seem to be my own enemy, though. The weather calendars have very accurate predictions yet I always read the forecast the night before, hoping that by some miracle I will wake up to 70°F rather than 30°F.

Like a wimp, I retreated back to my nest to hide under the warm blankets. On the plus side, I got a lot of work done…but I would’ve preferred a nice day under some cherry blossom trees. I guess eating chocolates in bed is a small consolation. There’s always a silver lining to everything…or in this case, a gold one!
