When I moved into NYC, I didn’t expect to see all the European influence that still remains in the city’s architecture. I spent this week looking closely and I found a magnificent amount of gorgeous details, intricate capitals, and that Tiffany green that I associate with the rooftops in Paris. A stroll through the picturesque landscape design of Central Park and I start to feel like I am in a different place. This week’s project, along with my frequent visits at the Met and the NYC Public Library, and I think more and more that a trip back to Europe is long overdue!
